Are you up to the Challenge?
Teams of up to eight workmates participated in the lunchtime Wheelchair Basketball Challenge. Held in the forecourt area of Federation Square, this friendly lunchtime competition provided a rare opportunity to play against professional sports people, including Paralympican Sam Bramham, Melbourne Vixen's Maddy Browne and AFL player Nathan Thompson, amongst others.
Eight teams competed in the 2011 event with the teams from City of Melbourne and National Australia Bank battling it out in the gold medal match, with City of Melbourne taking out the challenge.
